We operate a NO SMOKING policy in all our rooms.

Here at Oakland House all our rooms are en-suite, they are fully central heated and very well equipped. We have plenty of ground floor rooms with en-suite shower rooms or bathrooms. See below...
Checking In
Guests may check-in from 4.00pm or earlier by prior arrangement.
Checking out
Guests are responsible for settling their own account either by cash, cheque (with cheque guarantee card) or credit card.
Rooms should be vacated by 10.30am
Guests Facilities
In the main house there is a guest lounge with television, video, radio and CD player. There is also a conservatory sun lounge, which has ample reading material and a plethora of local and surrounding Tourist Information leaflets etc.
Room Facilities
All rooms are en-suite and centrally heated. There are tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, radio alarm clock, hair dryer, sewing kits and shoe cleaning equipment in all rooms.
- Iron and ironing board are available on request.
- Extra Blankets and pillows are also provided in all rooms.

Eating Out
Oakland House is run on a Bed and breakfast basis with plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area with a wide selection of choice for your evening meal.
Please ask for recommendation whether you want to take a short walk to the pub down the road or a take a drive out in to town.
